My Ideas
After doing some research on the Ernesto Neto artist then we have got the new task to do. In this task we have to work individually. Each person has to make a plan for their own imaginary installation. In order to respond this task I have also made a plan for the piece as you can see the picture below. For this piece the inspiration come from the Ernesto Neto artist. This piece is called the “Journey from different lives (Cultures) to death (dissolves in soil all together)”. It is a type of different caves that start from the different religion such as Christianity, Sikhism, Muslim, Hinduism and Judaism etc.
Therefore, through these caves people are able to walk and when they will reach at the end at the hump (earth soil) then it will represent that even though if they born from different religions but at the end when their life gets finish which means they are died and (in this installation when they reach the hump then its means that they will dissolve together and in this soil they don’t able to put them into different boundaries. So when all audience stand together then it will remind them before they went to different cultures they are humans. In order to relate these caves to the certain religion and recognise each religion I could hang the religion symbol in it which will tell them in which religion cave they are walking. At the end the hump I could hang some tights and fill them with the natural substances such as rocks, soil etc. This is my whole idea on it.
In this installation the materials will using for the caves is big tight cloth and order to stand the cave I could use the big metal wire in order to make the skeleton of the cave and after that I could inserted the tight cloth on it. In order to make the symbols I could cut the cardboard in the regions symbol and after this by using the ropes I could hang them up. For the hump part I could get the tights (Like Ernesto Neto has done). In these I could fill the rocks, soil and water. In order to fit in the water I could fill it in the plastic bag and cover it with the tight cloth materials.
This piece will be include two pieces one is religion side which is called “Human’s life” and other one is death side which is called “Earth”. This installation will arrange in the wide and it will be at the bigger scale as you can figure it by looking at the sketches of little humans. It could arranged it in the wider room because when they people see it at the bigger scale then it will attract them to went inside it in order to understand what is about. It is related to the every human’s beings because it is based on the life and the death. And on the other way round children will attract by this piece because at the age children and teenagers are usually attracted by these types of things. It will attract the adults because they might want to go inside it, in order to find out that why it is created etc. The artist statement for this piece would be,
“Even though human life starts from different paths but at the end they will be ended up in one path and then in this path no one able to separate them because it is place from where human gets all the nutrients to grow and when its body is not able to work well then this place will hold the human body in its arms”
So the meaning behind this piece would be that Humans beings born from different religions but at the end when their death comes then they die and after they dissolve in the soil and in soil they are able to go to different regions because on its nutrients each human grows by eating its food such as wheat, fruit etc. So this is my whole plan behind it.
The good thing about this plan is that I am get successful at making good plan that included strong meaning and also an artist statement.

The other idea that I think is that I could make an installation on the stairs and in this installation the lower side which is start of the stairs will present the hell life and at the top of the stair will present the luxurious life. The main reason behind this installation would be that in life before getting a luxurious life, our life is not that much good because we have not got enough knowledge. But as you step up which means gain knowledge and do handwork then one day you will reach to your life goals such as luxury things. So this installation would be called “Hell to heaven life goals stairs.” So for this piece, I have made an artist statement which would be called,
Never give up, and always keep your step up because this hard work will brings you towards your life goal.
So in order to arrange this installation could use the spiral stairs. On the way of these stairs (At the starts I could create the old type atmosphere which will include things for example, if people have not got enough money and they want to keep themselves and they have not got any facility like heater then they will more likely go wood and stone to set the fire, in order to keep them warm and the top of the stairs, I could make the luxury atmosphere where they do not need to get stone and wood to keep their self-warm because it will advanced life because they can turn on their heater button keep them and if they need to do some rest they might have the bed to sit on it etc. So it is my second idea. It would be related humans because they are able walk on these stairs and also able to learn that what the difference is between developed life and the UN developed life. From this they are able to learn that in we should never give up and also if they did not took their education seriously then it could get harder for them to reach their life goals. This will attract the audience walk around this installation because they are able touch these things and also are able to sit on them.
